Aubrey Peeples

Aubrey Peeples was born in the US and is an actress, singer. Most famously, she is known for her portrayal of Layla Grant, in Nashville (2012) drama, and Claudia Shepard from Sharknado (2013). She also had the role of the title character in the movie Jem and the Holograms, (2015). Aubrey Peeples grew up in Lake Mary Florida by parents Wendy and Ashley. The younger sister of her is Ally. Aubrey worked with Orlando Repertory Theatre ten years during her youth. Aubrey was a graduate of Lake Mary Preparatory School where she was the valedictory speaker for the class in 2012. Harvard University accepted her but agreed on entry twice in order to take on her part in Nashville. Peeples was a guest on Drop Dead Diva (2009) Burn Notice (2007) Austin & Ally (2011) Grey's Anatomy (2005) and also had an recurring role on Necessary Roughness (1991). She appeared on television in Ace Ventura Jr. Pet Detective 2009 and The Good Mother. In season two, she was portrayed by Layla Grant in the Nashville drama. Peeples discussed her bipolar illness during an interview with NKD Magazine. Indiewire identified Peeples as one of the top actors under the age of 20 in September of 2014.
